I came across the write-up/appeal below with pictures to prove that the good plans Governor Ambode has for lightening up the streets of Lagos are being sabotaged by incompetence and nonchalance.

During the recently held town hall meeting where Gov. Akinwumi Ambode gave an account of his stewardship, one of the achievements he mentioned is the street lights project, which is quite visible around Lagos.
We will like to draw the attention of the governor to the project being executed on the Ogunnusi Road (Berger-Ojodu-Omole-Ogba). The contractor working here needs to be called to order as what is being implemented is best described as disaster waiting to happen. The quality of work is poor and unacceptable.
We urge the supervising ministry/agency to visit the site now and ensure that the contractor does a proper job.
