Sadly, Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh, the selfless doctor who attended to the Liberian Ebola victim Sawyer has passed away. It is crushing to hear this sad news because I have friends that knew her. She had a heart of gold and she gave her life in exchange for the safety of millions o Nigeria. Her perseverance was what stopped the sick Sawyer from doing further horrendous damage when he brought the Ebola virus into Nigeria. She stopped him from leaving the hospital and then she, knowing she had had some form of contact with him, quarantined herself upon discovering he had the dreaded virus.
She did a very commendable and noble thing at the expense of her life. She will be missed by many and remembered by millions for her selfless act.
Rest in peace Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh. You did great.
