Hi everyone, I hope you've had a lovely day.
So a few days ago, I was drawn to a story about a 19 years old young man named Stephen Sutton. Stephen was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 15 but he did not let that stop him from living a selfless life. At some point, he made up a bucket-list (i.e. a list of things to achieve before dying) top of which included raising money for charity. From his initial plan of raising ten thousand pounds, Stephen raised the bar to a million pounds as a result of the amazing responses he got from strangers willing to be #AllHeartsAlways in helping him achieve his dream.
I was really touched to read his story of passion, selflessness and bravery. It wasn't the money, so much as the love he shared and the strength others drew from his story.
Sadly, Stephen Sutton succumbed to the cold clutches of death this morning. He left his mark in the world by being selfless. I believe his life was exemplary and worthy of emulation by all. Give a helping hand as often as you can.
R.I.P. Stephen Sutton.
