Is This The Most Racist AD Ever?

This advert was brought to my attention yesterday via my awesome GidiTraffic Viber group and it left me gobsmacked and reeling but not entirely shocked because it would take something MAJOR to come from the Chinese to leave me in utter shock after all I've seen from them in recent times, without even being stereotypical.

The advert shows a painter of African descent whistling suggestively at a Chinese lady trying to do her laundry and she beckons at him to approach her. He then struts seductively towards her and as he leans in for a kiss, she dodges slightly, pops a detergent pill into his mouth and shoves him into her washing machine and sits on it while he shakes and screams inside the wash. A short while afterwards, a "squeaky clean" Chinese man comes out of the washing machine and the silly girl is all over him like a rash.

My views.

1. Racism is real and the Chinese do not give a hoot about how we feel about their racist advert.

2. For all their racist brainwave idea, it was a rip off of an Italian ad. But of course we all know no one does plagiarism better than the Chinese, right?

3. The silly advert just might encourage kids to start popping those detergent pills into their mouths. way to go.

4. The black model probably had no idea of how this advert would end up, for all his sexiness.

5. The new improved squeaky clean Chinese wasn't that handsome after all if at all sef.

6. I really doubt if racism would end totally in my time. It's an unrelenting vicious circle that keeps spinning.

7. Donald Trump probably approves of the advert.

Behold, The World's Biggest Baby

A 19-year-old lady in India has birthed what might be the world biggest female baby, who weighed 15lbs (almost 7kg!!!) at birth! Nandini had her cute bundle of joy via caesarean section, thankfully.

The size of the wee baby left everyone who's seen her in shock, naturally. Most new borns usually weigh about 7.5lbs so Nandini's baby is almost double what a new born would weigh. Wow.

Thankfully, mother and baby are doing well.

Happy Children's Day

Happy children's day to all the children out there. Here's wishing you all a fantastic and happy future and all the very best in all your endeavours. Keep smiling.:)

So this just happened between myself and my daughter:

Her: Mummy, I'm giving some ants my apple
Me: o.O where are the ants?
Her: On the floor. I couldn't get them to go away, so I'm feeding them. *she happily and innocently
Me: :) **Thinking to myself, she's definitely #AllHeartsAlways**

Makes me wonder how anyone can bear to hurt kids and even derive pleasure from it. Children are so precious and their childhood must be preserved and kept pure.

Daughter: *looks at the image on my screen just now and beckons to her brother, saying* Come and see a sick animal in my mummy's laptop.

Son: Wow! A sick monster on my mum's computer.

Me: -_-

Getting The Psychological Help You Need

Good morning to you all out there, good people. How has your week been so far? I've got fantastic news for residents of Nigeria who have been through one traumatic experience or the other, no matter the length of time it's gone or for or how far in the past it happened.

Stand To End Rape Initiative has organised a psychosocial/therapy session for those who have not had the time or opportunity to have a one-on-one with a psychologist over a trauma that might has occurred in their lives. I believe this is a good opportunity for people to heal and get the closure they need in their lives in order to live happier and more satisfied lives.

So please send a text to the number on these posters of send an email to to register ahead so that they can make preparations for your attendance. Also, please ensure you share with someone you know who would benefit from this. It's too good to pass up.

Thanks. :)

How Difficult Is It To Mind Your Business?

A few years ago, the unforgettable audio clip below was released in Nigeria and it caused laughter for days. It was about a call centre staff of Etisalat, a telecommunications company in Nigeria, who had randomly and seemingly innocently called a customer to find out how he was enjoying their network since he joined Etisalat. The man's wife picked the calla and strung her along for a bit before having a go at her for calling her husband to check up on him, lol. The wife calmly demanded that Uche, the call centre officer, should never call her hubby ever again to check up on him and she even went ahead to threaten to storm Uche's office the next time she catches Uche calling her hubby, lol.

A particular slogan came off of this encounter and that is; "Uche onise (i.e. Uche the worker) face your work".  The thing I've noticed in recent times is that there are a lot of Uche onises all over the place, especially online, not minding their damn business. Some people are so nosy and borderline rude that the things they spew literarily runs shivers down my spine. Why would any normal human being eavesdrop on your conversation and then carry on to ASK you about what they had just heard which had NOTHING to do with them?

Why would an in-law be so concerned about what goes on in your marriage to the point of wanting to know what you ate, when you ate it and why you ate it? Why would a total stranger accost another in a market about her choice of purchase?

I saw a picture of an ex-colleague on Facebook on Friday evening and I paid him a compliment because it was a lovely picture and of course I sighted the dart board which used to be in my former office and missed the whole crew even more. (I digress :) I woke up on Saturday and some nosy-poker had replied on the same picture saying something like "Your mustache makes you look old. Please improve on it"!

At first I was like:

Then, I was like........

And then I wanted to.......

But y'all know I'm not one to unlook or keep quiet in the face of bullying or injustice so I politely asked her; "Aunty, izzit your moustache?" -_-

I mean why would anyone go to another person's Facebook wall and leave such a distasteful comment about his moustache? Is it your moustache or is his wife complaining? A lot of Nigerians know no boundaries or chill at all and they sometimes get put in their places, although not often or well enough, if you ask me. Of course she has not replied yet because she knows I was right and it was none of her damn business. If you are guilty of being a nosy-poker, please desist from such. The world is tough enough without us putting others down verbally or in anyway.

Have nice day and remember to face your work. :)

Don't Let Them Pull You Down

I find the above to be very true, in addition to battling with their own insecurities, people would try to tear you down to make themselves feel better. Guess what? It hardly ever makes them feel better anyway, unless they are truly sadistic by nature.

Often times, there's nothing you can do to stop people from react horridly towards you. What you can do however, is to distance yourself away from such negativity and activate your "control-alt-ignore" button. Now, to be very honest, this is often easier said than done but it can be done if you set your mind to it. No matter how negative a person can be, you must raise up your walls of positivity around yourself whenever you unavoidably come in contact with such people rather than let their venom seep through your mind.

Find your own happiness, live your own happiness.

Rise above, always.

"Mummy, We Want More Babies"! -_-

Remember the post I did here a while ago about the lovely young lady who was pregnant with quintuplets?

Wowsers. An Australian mum is expecting quintuplets (5 babies at once. OMG)  and despite the constant trips to the bathroom at nights, the persistent backache and the need to eat at least 6,000 calories a day in order to keep her growing babies well fed and nourished, she wouldn't have it any other way, bless her.

26-year-old Kim Tucci conceived quintuplets naturally after deciding to try for a boy. She already had two daughters and while trying for a son, she ended up getting pregnant with four girls and a boy (side eyes all those asking me to try for a third child). She's chosen to document her pregnancy journey since receiving the news and I think that's really cool of her to.

Obviously, it can't be easy for her and all she has to deal with but I'm glad she's doing well, as are the babies, and has the staunch support of her husband (side eyes the husbands who would have run off at the news. I'm a woman and I would prolly run away as well, lol) I pray she has a smooth delivery and for strength for her afterwards. Taking care of twins is daunting, how much more five babies at the same time. :)

Well, Kim Tucci has gone ahead to have her five cute and healthy babies. And once again, Erin Elizabeth did an awesome photography shoot on the cuties. These babies are certainly making my ovaries ache and longing for some cuteness too ooooooooo.

My kids woke me up yesterday morning with demands for babies and even had their preferred genders already. I just unlooked their shenanigans, lol. Kim had two girls and was hoping for A boy when she naturally conceived QUINTUPLETS. 'Nuff said. I cannot shout.

Beautiful shots by ErinElizabeth.

Timeless Classical Music

I find this song by Vangelis, to be one of the most beautiful songs ever, in my own opinion. It is a timeless classic and I have loved it from when I was a kid. It was a theme from the British movie Chariots of Fire.

Second Year #Blogniversary

Hello everyone, this is just a trial run to see how this works and how far I can go with it. I'm presently stuck at work waiting for hubby to pick me up, so I figured, why not do something productive for ME? Voila, here I am.

Being AllHeartsAlways is inborn for me and I believe it is so for everyone, if only we would succumb to our instincts to actually care selflessly about others. I know the world would be a better place for us all if we care and share more than we do at the moment. I also know that a lot of genuinely good deeds often turn sour and causes regrets, nonetheless this shouldn't deter us from helping others and reaching out in every capacity we can.

What goes around comes right back around and even if it doesn't, still be AllHeartsAlways. Have a lovely week ahead.

There's a pack of specially made, tasty and sinfully delicious carrot cake from our very own @CakeMayor (Instagram) to the second person to leave a comment. ;)

Hope Kept Them Alive......

There are reports of another Chibok school girl who has been found safe and alive by the Nigerian Army and vigilantes in Borno State after over two years of being in Boko Haram terrorists' captivity. Serah Luka is the daughter of a Christian pastor and had only been in the school for just two months when she was kidnapped alongside 218 other classmates and schoolmates of hers by the terrorists.

Brave Serah Luka
The Nigerian Army has cut of several supply routes of Boko Haram and it appears hunger and suffering is starting to drive them further out of Sambas forest. This means that without their regular food supplies, they are bound to come out of the forest to seek food in order to survive. Which in turn means we would most likely be seeing more of those who have been held in captivity all this time.

According to Amina, the first girl who was rescued a few days ago, all the students are still being held in Sambas except six of whom had died. :( I cannot imagine their parent's anguish at hearing such news, not knowing if their daughter would be among the six or not. Gosh, what a mess we have made of the lives of these people.

Amina, her baby and her relieved and doting mother. Wow.

I have awaited these days of seeing our girls brought back home. I have cried, prayed, wished, hoped and longed for their return. I kept hope alive and I am mighty glad that it is slowly but surely becoming a reality, their return is. I sincerely hope that our government and the international government have got excellent rehabilitation, therapy and counselling plans for these children as they bring them back home to us.

Their eyes tells deep stories of pain and unspoken horror and I wish I could hug it all away. I cannot imagine the things they've been subjected to and have seen at their tender ages. I don't even know how we can make this all right for them but I do know that first, we must bring them home.
