I am delighted to read and let you know that the kidnapped Orekoya kids, who I wrote about here, have been found. According to an update on their mother's Facebook Page, the children have been released by the kidnappers. No parent should ever have to go through such torment of not knowing the whereabouts of their children.
I'm glad it's all ended well for them. It's also a lesson for us all that we cannot be too careful about our children's safety. Read this previous post I wrote a few months ago about a similar occurrence and how we should be extra careful.
Now that the kids are back can welfare (if we have anything like that here) question those parents about their lackadaisical attitude towards caring and ensuring the safety of their children? I'm sure people have donated their hard earned money to bring those kids back, add the sleepless nights of friends, family and wellwishers strategizing on how to get them all because 2 parents refused to do their due diligence to ensure their children's safety in paid hands. Of course we will absolve the parents of all blames and sweep this under the carpet till we're awoken by 6am again to cry on social media for another set of abducted children.
