Dear Candidate,

Mayfair Agencies is one of the premier security companies in Nigeria with over 3000 staff. We have been in operation for over 40 years and have 18 branches across the country. We currently serve various clients in over 500 locations nationwide. We are well established to carry out security and related services in and out of Nigeria with our Head Office located in Lagos Island. Due to expansion and modernisation, we require the services of a corporate personal assistant.

You will be expected to be reliable, hardworking with a great sense of integrity, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, have good interpersonal skills, able to multitask with excellent organisational communication skills. Your responsibilities will encompass the following;
  • Reading, monitoring and responding to the boss’s email.
  • Answering calls and handling queries.
  • Preparing correspondence on the Deputy MD’s behalf.
  • Delegating work in the Deputy MD’s absence.
  • Liaising with staff, clients, etc.
  • Managing the company’s and Deputy MD’s electronic diary.
  • Organising meetings, organising travel and preparing complex travel itineraries.
  • Attending meetings on the Deputy MD’s behalf.
  • Writing minutes, taking dictation, planning, organising and managing events.
  • Managing a budget, attending events/meetings as the company’s representative.
  • Writing reports, executive summaries, newsletters.
  • Preparing presentations, preparing papers for meetings.
  • Managing and reviewing filing and office systems.
  • Preparing updates for intranet, typing documents.
  • Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment. 
  •  Managing projects and running errands.
As part of the role, the following qualifications are required;
  • A first degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Masters in Business Administration (Preferred).
  • Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) or any equivalent institute.
